At Covenant, we believe that a true and living faith is rightly and powerfully expressed through an enthusiastic and cohesive academic experience. Students delight in an examination of math, science, art, and the humanities as a single study of God and his creation. Further, we believe that an emerging worldview within a deepening faith helps to cultivate a love for Christ that serves the world.
In contrast to the ideas that so often dominate the current educational landscape (skepticism, utility, and subjective value), students discover the intrinsic value and connectedness of ideas; that rationalism, art, and virtue are real; that thinking, creating, and moral action are meaningful responses to life; and that God is the source of all reality.
In our world that is often characterized by isolation and anxiety, Christian faith offers understanding that wholly validates existence and results in a flourishing life. For us, this pursuit of "faith seeking understanding" is classically informed and sets a foundation for student engagement with culture through wisdom. This, however, is only made possible through strong mentoring relationships that model truth and love.
